You can trim away unwanted audio at the beginning and end of a music or sound clip.

  1. Select the audio clip on the slide.

  2. Under Audio Tools, on the Playback tab, click Trim Audio.

  3. To determine where you want to trim your sound clip, in the Trim Audio box, click Play.

  4. When you reach the point where you want to make the cut, click Pause.

  5. Do one or both of the following:

    • To trim the beginning of the clip, click the start point (green marker, on the far left). When you see the two-headed arrow, drag the arrow to the desired starting position for the audio clip.

    • To trim the end of the clip, click the end point (red marker, on the right). When you see the two-headed arrow, drag the arrow to the desired ending position for the audio clip.
